Beach Buoys

yay, found the lead. These are some watercolour and pencil sketches of the buoys, and the beginnings of an embroidered one.

After visiting the Tate in St Ives recently, I was just as intrigued with the buoys on the beach as I was with Dexter Dalwood's paintings. I liked how the bright attractive colours were rhythmically scattered across the sand, held together by the manky ropes and chains submerged in seaweed goup! Brilliant. Here are some Photoshopped images and photos. They need ALOT more work but are at that fertile stage! I have also done some drawings and embroidery but cant find the right lead to upload the images...tut and role of the eyes!
